ExifCleaner 1.6

This is a batch Windows utility aimed for removing hidden information stored in every single digital photo file.

That information is called metadata and there are a few metadata formats. To this moment, ExifCleaner enables you to remove EXIF, Adobe XMP, IPTC, geotags, ICC profile, JFIF, FlashPix, as well as the JPEG comments.

Removal of the metadata can be useful in several cases:
* For privacy reasons, erase sensitive tags such as geotagging data and/or date&time from pictures being posted onto the Web — to not disclosure your personal information.
* To save some disk space and server bandwidth — deleting the EXIF thumbnail and some other fields gives 50–100 kilobytes off a size per each file.
* When you do photomontage and combine several pictures into one.

The handling is totally lossless for an actual image. SuperUtils ExifCleaner is able to work in a batch mode, and can also be integrated into the Windows Explorer shell for quick access to its major functions.

REmove the unregister section from the edit menu - this could easily be activated accidentaly then you no longer have a registered copy. there's no need for such a button.

The GUI looks very dated. give the GUI a face lift to bring it up to Win 7 standards and if possible add the ability for the user to create and share their own skins

Include a password protection so that you can lock the image from being edited or cleaned by other similar programs. This would give copyrighted images some measure of protection

include a title editor so that you can edit the name of the image as well as cleaning the exif data - also enable the user to edit not just clear away information. This would make the application much more useful. As it stands it's too basic and

There should be a safety feature built in to stop users from ripping off copyrighted images. Something that can disable the tool if there is a copyright on the image.
